Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nursing program.
• RN - Licensed Registered Nurse (PA).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Basic computer skills.
• Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care for designated patients.
• Recognizes the need for and initiates collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinates and provides patient and family education throughout treatment.
• Participates in performance improvement processes and safety initiatives.
• Demonstrates leadership and mentoring of new colleagues and department interns.
