Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network in Hazleton, PA, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU on the night shift. This .9 FTE position provides critical care with a 72-hour bi-weekly schedule and rotating weekends.

You will perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, collaborate with physicians and the care team, and participate in quality and safety initiatives. A PA RN license and BLS are required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of Pennsylvania (PA) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; minimum nursing program graduate.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for ICU patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team, and families to optimize outcomes.
• Demonstrate leadership, mentor colleagues, and participate in performance improvement and safety initiatives.
