Job summary

Heritage Valley Beaver is seeking an experienced registered nurse for the Emergency Department. You will provide high-level nursing care during 12-hour night shifts, with weekend and holiday requirements as needed to cover 72 hours per pay period.

Candidates must hold a Pennsylvania RN license, with ACLS, BLS, and PALS to be obtained within specified timeframes. A BSN is preferred; the role emphasizes urgent care and critical care readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania RN license; other state licensure as required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/BLS).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within one year of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Practice nursing in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
• Complete applicable clearances within 90 days of commencing employment.
