Nationwide Children’s Hospital Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for the ED Main Campus in Columbus, OH. This part-time role covers 7p-7a with weekend and holiday rotations and a 12/7/2026 start date.

The position focuses on basic supportive care, vital signs collection, safety, and clerical tasks under RN supervision. Requires an Ohio STNA license, active CPR, and one year of recent hospital patient care experience.

Formación

• Completion of fundamentals course from an approved nursing program, or equivalent licensure or experience.
• Active State Tested Nurse Aide License in the State of Ohio, or equivalent education or experience, required.
• Current CPR certification (BLS for healthcare provider), required.
• One year of patient care experience in a hospital setting within the last three years, or equivalent education or licensure, required.

Responsabilidades

• Collects, documents, and reports vital signs.
• Promotes general patient safety and assists with procedures.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient information.
• Stocking, cleaning, and maintaining patient care areas.
• Acts as a preceptor and trains other staff.
