Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH is hiring a Part-time Patient Care Assistant for the ED Main Campus. The role supports RNs with patient care, vital signs, and safety while maintaining HIPAA standards. Requires an OH STNA license, CPR/BLS, and nursing fundamentals training; prior hospital care is preferred.

Typical shifts are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., 16–36 hours per week, with every third weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Fundamentals course from an approved nursing program, or equivalent licensure or experience.
• Active State Tested Nurse Aide License in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification (BLS for healthcare provider).

Responsabilités

• Collect, document, and report vital signs.
• Promotes general patient safety and assists with procedures.
• Prepares materials and maintains stocked patient areas.
• Performs clerical and administrative tasks as necessary.
• Acts as a preceptor and trains other staff.
