Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an Emergency Department assignment in Lewiston, Maine. This 12-week position offers Days & Nights shifts with weekly pay from $1,680 to $2,100 gross.

The ideal candidate holds an LPN/LVN license, IV and BW certifications, a current BLS, and at least one year of ED experience. You will deliver bedside care, monitor patients, and collaborate with RNs and physicians in a fast-paced ED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• LPN/LVN license required.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification required.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• One year ED experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside care in a high-volume emergency setting
• Monitor vital signs, patient condition, and acuity changes
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws
• Support trauma, triage, and emergency interventions
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and care teams
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and ED protocols
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems
• Communicate changes in condition quickly and accurately
