Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado invites experienced Emergency Department Float Pool RNs to join a dynamic ED team. Float to multiple units based on patient volume and acuity while supporting high-quality, evidence-based care.

Requires BSN, current RN license, and BLS; 1 year of RN experience preferred. Full-time with day or night options and a 10% float differential. Comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• RN license current in state of practice; BLS certification; BSN required by 4/27/2025 update.
• Emergency Department, Trauma, Critical Care or other acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in fast-paced emergency care environments.
• Perform rapid patient assessments, prioritize care, and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, technicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
