Community Health Systems, Inc. seeks an experienced Supervisor for the Emergency Department to lead nursing care, optimize patient flow, and uphold high standards. You will mentor staff and ensure policy compliance while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.

The role focuses on staffing coordination, performance feedback, data-driven improvements, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to support department goals and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing is required.
• 1-2 years of related experience in nursing is required.
• 1-2 years of leadership experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supervises and evaluates nursing care delivery in the ED, ensuring adherence to policies and care plans.
• Monitors patient flow, turn-around-times, and staff performance to identify improvements.
• Performs regular rounds on patients and staff to address concerns and ensure high standards of care.
• Identifies staffing needs for oncoming shifts and ensures adequate coverage.
• Acts as a clinical resource, providing guidance for complex patient care situations.
• Reports issues to Manager/Director/Administrator on Call promptly.
• Prioritizes data collection and documentation per patient condition and priorities.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains reliable attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
