Job summary

Responsibilities

• Coordinates/leads daily clinical operational activities of the unit and organization.
• Manages patient throughput with admissions, discharges, transfers, and rounds.
• Oversees staffing processes and aligns assignments with patient needs.
• Monitors unit environment and ensures supply availability for safe care.
• Staffs, schedules and utilizes nursing and support staff effectively.
• Documents scheduling, occurrences, concerns, and quality indicators in real time.
• Provides reports on throughput, staffing, environment, and quality indicators.
