Job summary

UNC Lenoir Health Care is seeking a capable nurse leader to coordinate staff, resources and outcomes in the Critical Care Unit. The role combines clinical leadership with hands-on RN duties in a dynamic ED/CCU environment.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree (MS preferred), NC RN licensure, and 3–5 years ED nursing plus 1–3 years of leadership experience. The position is onsite at Lenoir MEM with standard 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or obtained within three years, MS in Nursing, Business or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years Emergency Department Nursing experience. 1-3 Years Leadership experience.
• Registered Nurse licensed in NC; certification in field of expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and manages staff, material and financial resources to achieve patient outcomes.
• Serves as a clinical role model using the nursing process to direct, provide and evaluate age-specific patient care.
• Provides clinical leadership and support to the department; serves as a working manager able to perform RN duties in the CCU.
