Job summary

UNC Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the CCU team in Lenoir Health Care, Kinston, NC. The RN will apply nursing process, provide direct patient care, and ensure quality outcomes per the department's scope.

New graduates are welcome; NC RN licensure with BLS and ACLS within one year is required. On-site work, 36 hours per week, day schedule, with a salary range of $33.20–$41.49 per hour, determined by experience and internal equity.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; BLS and ACLS within one year.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• New graduates welcome; 1–2 years for specialty areas as defined by department.

Responsibilities

• Analyses patient health problems and needs; develops and implements nursing care plans.
• Direct, provide and evaluate age/population specific patient care per department scope.
• Maintain medical records and ensure high-quality clinical outcomes.
