Job summary

Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston is seeking a Registered Nurse Case Manager to support the ED and ED Observation Unit. This full-time role requires 40 hours weekly across 4 - 10 hour shifts with 1 weekend per month, onsite at 55 Fruit Street.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care, while promoting a healing environment, reducing costs, and ensuring quality outcomes through collaboration and advocacy.

Qualifications

• RN Case Manager experience required.
• Massachusetts RN license required.
• Case manager certificate preferred.
• ADN required; BSN strongly preferred.
• Acute hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across ED and observation units.
• Assess, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate patient needs.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure efficient trajectories.
• Support admission/discharge planning and reimbursement.
