Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and technical nursing assistant or EMT training.
• AHA BLS certification required; CNA/EMT-Basic preferred.
• Strong reading, writing and basic math skills with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and patient care under RN supervision.
• Monitor vital signs and report abnormalities to the nurse.
• Collect specimens, perform basic point-of-care tests and document results.
• Assist in transport, wound care, and routine specimen collection.
• Maintain clean, stocked patient rooms and support trauma/stroke teams.
