Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Winchester Hospital seeks an Emergency Department Tech to assist in delivering high-quality emergency care under RN supervision. The role focuses on patient comfort, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced ED setting.

Requirements include CNA or nursing student with clinical rotation or equivalent, plus 1 year of clinical care, EMT or ER experience preferred. Shift pattern includes two 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• CNA certification or nursing student with rotation/1 year clinical care experience
• Preferred: high school diploma/equivalence
• Preferred: emergency patient care experience
• Preferred: EKG experience
• Preferred: phlebotomy experience
• Basic computer skills
• Crisis Prevention/Intervention

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures to provide emergency care in the ED setting
• Support patient comfort and safety and enhance patient experience
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to optimize outcomes
• Work under direction of a registered nurse on shifts including weekends/holidays
