Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assists the professional registered nurse in patient care, using age-appropriate approaches.
• Provides or assists with patient care procedures, ensuring safety and dignity.
• Collects specimens and performs basic lab prep.
• Greets patients and families and responds to requests promptly.
• Transports patients and serves as a sitter as needed.
• Cares for patient belongings and documents status with the nurse.
