Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Electronic Test Technician to perform bench level testing of ECUs, validate functionality, and diagnose issues in automotive electronics. The role involves setting up test benches, validating infotainment and telematics features, and documenting results.

Immediate start with a potential contract-to-hire, onsite in Palo Alto, CA. The ideal candidate will read schematics, use oscilloscopes and multimeters, and demonstrate strong troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Experience with bench level testing of automotive ECUs, particularly Infotainment and Telematics systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Knowledge of electrical measurements and signal analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform bench level testing of Infotainment and Telematics ECUs, ensuring proper functionality, quality validation, and issue diagnosis in automotive electronics
• Set up and execute test benches, lab equipment, and validation setups
• Conduct functional testing and validation of ECU features such as audio, connectivity, telematics, and UI systems
• Create, execute, and document test cases, analyze results, and report defects
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using diagnostic tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and log analyzers
