Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a dedicated Automotive Electrical Test Technician to join their team. As an Automotive Electrical Test Technician, you will be part of the Electrical Testing Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
What's the Job?
- Perform bench-level testing of Battery Management Systems (BMS) and Zonal ECUs to support validation and quality assurance processes.
- Set up and operate test benches, lab equipment, and validation setups to ensure proper functionality of automotive electronic systems.
- Conduct functional testing and validation of ECU features such as audio, connectivity, telematics, and user interface systems.
- Create, execute, and document detailed test cases, analyze results, and report defects for continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using diagnostic tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and log analyzers, interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
What's Needed?
- Experience with bench-level testing of automotive electronic control units (ECUs), including Infotainment and Telematics systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and log analyzers.
- Knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and low-level electrical measurements.
- Ability to support ECU integration, flashing, and configuration activities.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
