Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Global Manufacturing Electrical & SDV leader to drive end-to-end ECU deployment across GM manufacturing sites. You will plan, coordinate, and execute reflashing activities, lead cross‑functional teams, and ensure high‑quality results at scale in onsite environments.

You will work with engineering, manufacturing, and software teams to standardize processes, train staff, and improve deployment performance while traveling extensively to GM sites worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in high tempo, operational environments.
• Hands-on with vehicle ECUs, embedded systems, or in-vehicle software deployment.
• Knowledge of automotive CAN/Ethernet and ECU interaction fundamentals.
• Experience using vehicle diagnostic and reprogramming tools (NeoVI, vSPY, DPS).
• Understanding of end-of-line manufacturing and software flashing processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot software/hardware integration in vehicle/manufacturing settings.
• Willingness to travel (50%).

Responsibilities

• Lead reflash events across GM manufacturing sites ensuring readiness and quality.
• Plan and coordinate reflash events with software and engineering teams.
• Develop and execute team resource plans across locations.
• Establish and manage reflash environment at manufacturing sites and lead on-site teams.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers to standardize processes.
• Develop training sessions and create clear documentation for deployment.
