The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field, at least two years of behavioral health experience, and knowledge of HIPAA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related medical field is required.
  • Two years of clinical experience in behavioral health is required.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy regulations.
  • Ability to coordinate care across multiple teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Care coordination for a caseload in the ECT department.
  • Insurance eligibility verification and authorization processes.
  • Coordinate with Ambulatory staff, anesthesia, ECT physicians, and psychiatry staff.
  • Ensure compliance with California welfare codes related to ECT.
  • Schedule OR cases and track ECT numbers.
  • Educate patients and families about ECT.
