Stanford Health Care is seeking an ECT Program Coordinator to manage care coordination for patients receiving Electro-Convulsive Therapy in the Ambulatory Surgery Center. You will liaise with inpatient/outpatient teams, verify insurance, and guide patients and families through treatment planning.

Required education includes a BSN or related field and an MSW; two years of behavioral health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or other medical field.
• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in behavioral health (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Care coordination for caseload of patients in the ECT department, including intake, insurance verification, consult assignment, liaison with inpatient/outpatient providers, and guiding patients and families with treatment plans.
• Ongoing communication with Ambulatory staff, anesthesia physicians, ECT physicians, and psychiatry staff.
• Reviews prospectively, concurrently, and retrospectively for ECT patient’s appropriateness for service, level of care and length of stay.
• Facilitates compliance with California Welfare and Institutions codes regarding ECT, including consents, capacity, scheduling committee reviews, and state reporting.
• Case management: intake, referral, treatment planning, resource allocation, and progress updates.
• Education: provides educational resources for ECT patients and families.
• Administrative tasks: scheduling OR cases, scheduling consults, tracking ECT numbers for insurance and regulatory purposes.
