Qualifications

Master's degree in economics with at least one year of experience in economics, or a Doctorate in economics.
Experience analyzing labor market data from sources such as BLS, BEA, Census, LMI, and UI programs.
Ability to produce graphs, tables, and reports for public reporting.
Familiarity with Projections Suite software for state projections.

Responsibilities

Analyze micro and macro economic and labor data from BLS, BEA, Census, LMI, and UI programs.
Create graphs, tables, and reports for public reporting.
Collaborate with partners on studies and research projects.
Clean and analyze input data for Industry and Occupational Employment Projections.
Upload data and develop projections for federal deliverables and state forecasts using Projections Suite.
Provide expert consultation on labor market data for policy decisions.
