Job summary

Mecklenburg County Government is seeking a Social Services Program Coordinator in the Economic Mobility Division to support the MTAJNC program, coordinate planning and daily operations, and ensure milestones are met with accuracy. The role serves as a central contact across internal teams, external partners, and participants, handling scheduling, documentation and status updates, and helping leadership evaluate program effectiveness. Strong organization and multi-tasking are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of social services or human services experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Combination of education and relevant experience accepted?

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise program activities and assist in program development.
• Conduct staff meetings and coordinate with supervisors and managers.
• Review staff cases and workloads to prioritize duties and referrals.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly program reports.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff; respond to operational needs.
• May staff shelters in disaster scenarios.
