Alliance Franchise Brands is seeking an eCommerce Production Specialist. This position is responsible for building and maintaining eCommerce/Web-to-Print solutions on behalf of our Franchise Members. This includes configuring products, setting up online stores, and managing backend workflows to ensure alignment between business requirements and platform functionality. The role requires a blend of customer service, design sensibility, and analytical thinking, with a working knowledge of design and/or prepress production.

This role is part of a highly productive, accuracy-driven team with clear expectations around timelines and deliverables. Because much of the work is client-facing, strong communication skills and the ability to engage confidently via email, phone, or online meetings are essential. As our organization continues to advance its production automation efforts, the Specialist may also contribute to initiatives that streamline production workflows and reduce manual touchpoints.

• This position is located in Plymouth, Michigan and requires at least two days a week in the office.**
  
  

Primary Responsibilities

• Build and launch new eCommerce/Web-to-Print storefronts using our WorkStream platform
• Set up and test variable print products using the eDocBuilder tool
• Configure products and workflows to match business needs, including inventory items, file uploads, and personalization options
• Support Franchise Members by answering questions and resolving issues related to storefront setup, product programming, and order workflows
• Partner with internal team members and Franchise clients throughout the store setup process — from discovery to launch
• Help streamline order processing by aligning storefronts with available automation tools (e.g., MIS integration, file routing, hotfolders)
• Maintain proficiency in relevant platforms, tools, and software including Adobe Creative Suite, eDocBuilder and various eCommerce toolsets
• Continuously improve personal knowledge of print production workflows and best practices to better serve Franchise Members
  
  

Experience And Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field — or equivalent work experience
• Hands-on experience with eCommerce platforms or website builders
• Background in design and/or prepress production
• Familiarity with digital and offset printing basics — including layout, color, fonts, bleeds, imposition, and file prep
• Comfort working with basic programming logic (e.g., if/then statements or similar rule-building concepts)
  
  

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working in a franchise or multi-brand environment
• Strong technical writing skills
• Familiarity with variable data publishing tools such as XMPie, FusionPro, or eDocBuilder
• Experience with HTML/CSS
• Experience with eDocBuilder and/or the Pressero platform
