Job summary

JT Logistics Solutions in Altoona, IA, seeks an Operations Manager – eCommerce Fulfillment for a high-velocity 3PL warehouse. You will lead D2C and B2B order fulfillment, ensure same-day/next-day ship cutoffs, and optimize labor, pick/pack/ship processes to meet SLAs.

You will supervise fulfillment staff, coordinate returns, inventory accuracy, and carrier relationships, while driving continuous improvement and cost-per-order metrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leadership in ecommerce fulfillment, 3PL, or distribution operations.
• Experience with WMS, multi-carrier parcel shipping, and scaling operations for peak season.
• High school diploma required; associate/bachelor’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily D2C and B2B order flow to meet same-day/next-day ship cutoffs and client SLAs.
• Balance labor across multiple client and production lines to match UPH targets.
• Optimize pick paths, slotting, and pack-station setup for high-SKU orders.
• Oversee small-parcel and LTL carrier execution including rate shopping and forms.
• Manage kitting, bundling, and value-added services to client specs.
• Drive peak-season readiness—staffing, capacity, and cutoffs for promotions.
