You will manage catalogs across Amazon, Walmart, and Target, support new SKUs, coordinate content and images, monitor pricing and compliance, and provide operational reporting to improve performance.

Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of hands-on experience managing day-to-day operations for Amazon marketplaces within Seller Central and Vendor Central
  • Proven ability to support new product launches on Amazon or other digital retailers
  • Experience managing multi-SKU catalogs with parent/child variations and frequent updates
  • Strong experience writing or adapting marketplace-specific product copy
  • Collaboration across Creative, Supply and agency partners

Job description

Our client, a growing CPG brand is seeking an Amazon Operations Coordinator. This is a remote freelance position (40 hours a week) for 6 months with potential to extend. Must be US based.

This role partners closely with Supply Chain & Fulfillment, Integrated Marketing, Creative, Retail, and external marketplace agencies to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly, new SKUs launch on time, content remains accurate and compliant, and performance reporting is reliable.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, operationally strong, and comfortable owning execution while also bringing forward strategic recommendations based on performance data, business goals, and marketplace best practices.

Core Responsibilities:
Marketplace Catalog & Content Operations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date product catalogs across Amazon, Walmart, and Target
  • Manage parent/child variations, packaging transitions, and SKU lifecycle updates
  • Monitor product detail pages to ensure content accuracy, order, and compliance
  • Manage Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) content updates and related cases
  • Own Brand Store maintenance, including new product launches and seasonal updates
  • Write and adapt marketplace-specific product copy in line with brand, retailer, and compliance guidelines
  • Implement content updates accurately across domestic and international marketplaces in coordination with agencies
  • Coordinate with Creative teams on localized content for international marketplaces (CA, UK, EU, AU)
Product Setup & Launch Support
  • Support new SKU setup by coordinating copy, imagery, and PDP assets and launching Vine
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of enhanced content (A+, Brand Stores)
  • Own launch readiness checks to ensure listings are live, accurate, and merchandised correctly
Asset Management & Content QA
  • Manage product imagery and assets from creative tools such as Figma
  • Resize, reformat, and quality-check assets to meet marketplace specifications
  • Support IP approvals for limited-edition product assets as needed
Pricing, Suppressions & Operational Monitoring
  • Monitor and resolve product suppressions related to pricing, content, or IP issues
  • Track temporary pricing adjustments and ensure timely reversion
  • Proactively flag anomalies in listings, pricing, or availability for investigation
Reporting, Operations & Continuous Improvement
  • Execute data pulls for Digital Retail and support operational reporting accuracy
  • Manage Amazon B2B invoicing for select international markets
  • Monitor returns, reviews, and customer feedback to surface operational insights
  • Identify and recommend improvements to content quality, launch execution, workflows, and tools
  • Support documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Must-Have:
  • 2-3+ years of hands-on experience managing day-to-day operations for Amazon marketplaces within Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central, with direct ownership of catalog accuracy, content execution, and operational issue resolution
  • Proven ability to support new product launches on Amazon or other digital retailers, coordinating across creative, operations, and external agency partners
  • Experience managing multi-SKU catalogs with parent/child variations and frequent updates
  • Strong experience writing or adapting marketplace-specific product copy that balances brand voice, retailer requirements, and compliance standards
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Creative, Supply
