We are looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented SEO/eCommerce Specialist to join our team. As an SEO/eCommerce Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing our online store's day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for researching and implementing SEO optimizations, generating marketing content, performing price studies, reviewing reports and recommending solutions, and collaborating with other teams to ensure an optimal customer experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of eCommerce platforms and digital marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

SEO and Content Optimization
  1. Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to improve product visibility and drive organic traffic
  2. Create engaging, SEO-optimized content for product listings, blog posts, and marketing materials
  3. Ensure product descriptions, images, specifications, and page content align with SEO best practices
Market Research and Competitive Analysis
  1. Perform market research to understand customer preferences and eCommerce trends
  2. Analyze competitors' pricing and adjust pricing strategies to remain competitive
  3. Provide insights based on research to optimize product offerings and drive sales
Performance Analysis and Reporting
  1. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, sales and customer engagement
  2. Analyze sales data, website performance and marketing campaigns to identify trends and areas for improvement
  3. Provide regular reports and actionable insights to enhance conversion rates, product performance and sales
Digital Marketing and Promotional Campaigns
  1. Assist in creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, paid ads and social media efforts
  2. Support content creation for social media to increase brand awareness and customer loyalty
  3. Monitor and optimize promotional offers, discounts and seasonal campaigns for effectiveness
Customer Experience and Feedback
  1. Review customer feedback and ratings to identify opportunities for product or service improvement
  2. Ensure seamless communication between the eCommerce team and customer service to address customer inquiries and concerns
  3. Assist in developing strategies to enhance the customer journey, from browsing to post-purchase support
Website Maintenance and Optimization
  1. Work with designers to update website visuals, banners and promotions
  2. Ensure product pages are optimized for user experience and conversion
  3. Support website functionality improvements based on performance data and customer feedback
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  1. Work closely with marketing, IT, design and customer service teams to align on eCommerce goals
  2. Participate in team meetings to discuss upcoming promotions, sales strategies and product launches

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, related field or equivalent experience
  2. 1-3 years' experience in eCommerce, retail or a related field
  3. Proficiency with eCommerce platforms such as Magento (preferred), BigCommerce, Shopify or WooCommerce
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe PhotoShop, Indesign or Illustrator
  5. Google Digital Marketing and E-commerce and Google Data Analytics certifications preferred
  6. Familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, email marketing platforms and social media)
  7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  10. Experience with inventory management and order processing is a plus.
