Job summary

Saks Global is seeking an E-commerce Category Specialist to drive online performance for assigned product categories. You will optimize product presentation, manage information, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to hit sales targets and improve profitability across the e-commerce channel.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in category management in ecommerce, a Bachelor’s in Marketing or related field, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of category management experience in ecommerce.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or related field.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the manager to implement category strategies aligned with online sales targets.
• Collaborate with merchandising and buying to influence assortment.
• Ensure merchandising is intuitive and aligned with best practices across site.
• Maintain product categorization, filtering, and navigation to enhance user experience.
• Track and report on key category metrics (sales, conversion, AOV, traffic).
• Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies.
• Coordinate with digital experience teams to implement website enhancements.
• Synthesize data into actionable recommendations.
• Address ad hoc requests and present findings.
