Saks Global is seeking an E-commerce Category Specialist to drive online performance across assigned product categories in New York. You will optimize product presentation, analyze performance data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet sales targets and improve profitability within the e-commerce channel.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in category management, experience in retail buying or digital marketing, and a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in category management.
• Experience in retail buying, merchandising, or digital marketing can also be valuable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of e‑commerce platforms, functionalities, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with online sales targets.
• Collaborate with merchandising and buying teams on product assortment.
• Ensure intuitive site navigation, search results, and product presentation.
• Work with Digital Experience teams to resolve issues and optimize the site.
• Track and report on category performance metrics.
• Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies.
