Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in relevant engineering field (e.g., Civil, Environmental, Ecological, Biosystems).
• 6–10 years of relevant experience as a Water Resources Engineer with a preference for ecological restoration experience.
• PE or ability to obtain licensure within six months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Supporting a range of planning, design, and design-build projects (e.g., wetland restoration, climate resilience, living shorelines, green infrastructure, floodplain and river restoration).
• Creating site-specific concept designs and design drawings.
• Preparing construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Providing construction phase services (e.g., bid support, construction observation).
• Performing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
• Conducting natural resources and watershed inventories and field assessments.
• Supporting regional business development activities, including proposal writing.
