Job summary

Resource Environmental Solutions LLC is seeking a Water Resources Engineer with 1+ years of experience to join our Orlando team. You will work from concept through construction and monitoring, contributing to ecological restoration and water quality improvement.

You will collaborate with mentors, develop designs for restoration and stormwater systems, and gain hands-on experience with hydrologic modeling tools like HEC-RAS and FlowMaster.

Qualifications

B.S. in civil, environmental, water resources, or natural resources engineering (or a related field).
EIT eligible
Previous industry-related internship
Understanding of watershed hydrology fundamentals
Basic Knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, and Hydrologic & Hydraulic Modeling
Experience in Reading and Interpreting Plans
Basic Experience in Technical Report Writing and Documentation
Field techniques (XS, Long pro, survey) and site assessment

Responsibilities

Develop designs for ecological restoration, stormwater systems, and erosion & sediment control.
Use AutoCAD, FlowMaster, HEC-RAS, and GIS to create and analyze hydrologic models.
Write technical reports and collect data to support project work.
Perform fieldwork to gather site data and conduct reconnaissance.
