Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group. The role focuses on regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local environmental programs as part of a dedicated team.

You will assist with site investigations, development of objective data plans, and risk assessments, collaborating with multidisciplinary experts to deliver technically sound solutions and support client

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline; professional scientist registration/certification preferred.
7+ years of related experience as stated; travel may be required.
Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Support site investigations and data interpretation for human health and ecological risk assessments.
Assist with development of DQOs, QAPPs, and SAPs.
Contribute to CSEM, HHRAs, SLERAs, and BERAs for varying complexity.
Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and toxicologists on project approaches.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
