Job summary

Babilou Family US is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support Certified Teachers, foster a nurturing and sustainable learning environment, and build strong family partnerships. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adhering to sustainable practices across daily activities.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00AM-6:00PM, year-round, with opportunities for professional development and growth within our Sustainable Education® framework.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with young children in childcare or education setting.
• Knowledge of child development and classroom safety standards.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and support the Certified Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Assist Certified Teacher with daily lesson plans and activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, eco-minded classroom.
• Supervise children during activities and transitions.
• Engage families with sustainable communication and updates.
• Participate in professional development and training.
