Job summary

Carrier Mexico is seeking an ECN Product Engineer to manage engineering changes for Light Commercial HVAC products. You will ensure ECN execution, BOM integrity in SAP, and cross-functional collaboration to meet quality, cost, and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a mechanical or electrical engineering degree and 2+ years in product engineering or manufacturing support, with strong English and SAP experience. Growth opportunities exist within a global engineering network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• 2+ years in Product Engineering, Engineering Change Management, or related roles.
• 1+ year supporting manufacturing operations or production environments.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of engineering design changes through the ECN process from Manufacturing Review to production release.
• Ensure products comply with design center specs, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Review drawings, product specs, tolerance analyses, and technical documentation for implementation.
• Validate and maintain BOM integrity in SAP/MRP systems.
• Coordinate ECN activities across Manufacturing, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Sourcing, EH&S, Finance, IT, suppliers and Design Centers.
• Support pilot builds, feasibility assessments, and production validation.
• Drive product quality improvements, cost reduction, and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain documentation and project follow-up through the ECN lifecycle.
