Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking an ECMO specialist to participate in the development of ECMO treatment plans, including assessment, planning, implementation, and education. You will work with the ECMO physician and the healthcare team to interpret and adjust the patient care plan.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and completion of an ECMO training program or related education; TN RN or RRT or CCP licensure with BLS/ACLS is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• ECMO training program and/or ECMO education required.
• RN or RRT or CCP licensure with BLS/ACLS preferred or required in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Develops an ECMO treatment plan including assessment, planning, implementation and education.
• Communicates with the ECMO physician and healthcare team to interpret, adjust and complete the ECMO patient care plan.
