Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center seeks an ECMO specialist to participate in developing and executing ECMO treatment plans, including assessment, planning, implementation and education. You will coordinate with the ECMO physician and care team to interpret and adjust the patient care plan as needed.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, ECMO training or equivalent education, and licensure in critical care fields with at least 2 years of critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Completion of a designated ECMO training program or formal education in Extra Corporeal Circulation.

Responsibilities

• Participates in development of a treatment plan including assessment, planning, implementation and education.
• Communicates with the ECMO physician and healthcare team to interpret, adjust and complete treatment specific to the ECMO patient care plan.
