Job summary

Dallas Center United Methodist is seeking an experienced ECMO specialist to participate in the development and execution of ECMO treatment plans. You will coordinate with the ECMO physician and the medical team to tailor patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, ECMO training or ECC education, and licensure (RN Texas BON, RRT NBRC or CCP). BLS/ACLS, and at least 2 years of critical care experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• ECMO training program or formal education in Extracorporeal Circulation is required or preferred.
• RN license (Texas BON) or RRT NBRC or CCP license must be held.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development of ECMO treatment plan including assessment, planning, implementation, and education.
• Communicate with the ECMO physician and healthcare team to interpret, adjust and complete the ECMO patient care plan.
