Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking an ECMO Specialist to participate in the development and execution of ECMO treatment plans for critically ill patients. You will assess, plan, implement, and educate, working closely with the ECMO physician and the ICU team to tailor care to individual patient needs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with designated ECMO training or formal education in Extra Corporeal Circulation, plus relevant Texas licensure/credentialing and a minimum of two

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with ECMO-specific training or formal education in Extra Corporeal Circulation.
• Current RN/RT/Perfusion credentials as applicable in Texas; BLS/ACLS required.
• Minimum of 2 years in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Participates in development and execution of ECMO treatment plans, including assessment, planning, implementation and education.
• Communicates with ECMO physician and ICU team to interpret, adjust and complete patient-specific care plans.
