Job summary

Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the ECMO ICU. This full-time night-shift position (7:00 pm–7:00 am) offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus for full-time candidates with 2 years Acute Care experience.

The ECMO Specialist RN will prime and initiate therapy, perform circuit exchanges, and support rapid ECMO deployment across intra- and inter-hospital transports.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
• RN license and certification
• 2 years ECMO Specialist RN experience
• BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
• ACLS- American Heart Association
• CCRN – through AACN

Responsibilities

• Prime and initiate ECMO therapy and manage circuit exchanges.
• Perform emergent ECMO interventions and operate multiple ECLS components.
• Transport ECMO patients intra- and inter-hospital as part of Rapid ECMO Deployment Team.
