Job summary

Baylor University Medical Center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the ECMO ICU team. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time candidates with 2 years of RN experience.

The ECMO ICU requires proficiency in initiating therapy, circuit exchanges, and rapid transport of ECLS patients, working within a highly specialized setting. Ideal candidates will have CVICU/SICU background, BLS within 30 days, ACLS, and CCRN certification.

Qualifications

• RN with CVICU/SICU experience.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• CCRN certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prime and initiate ECMO therapy and perform circuit exchanges.
• Manage emergent interventions and operate multiple ECLS pumps.
• Transport ECLS patients as part of the Rapid ECMO Deployment Team.
