Job summary

Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the ECMO ICU in Dallas, TX. The ECMO Specialist will prime, initiate therapy, and perform circuit exchanges, with a focus on high-quality care for ECMO patients.

Candidates should have CVICU/SICU experience, RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certification. Eligible full-time staff receive a $15,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• 2 years CVICU or SICU experience
• BLS within 30 days of hire
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• CCRN certification preferred or required

Responsibilities

• Prime and initiate ECMO therapy and perform circuit exchanges.
• Independently perform emergent interventions and operate multiple ECMO components.
• Transport ECMO patients intra- and inter-hospital as part of the Rapid ECMO Deployment Team.
