Job summary

Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas seeks an experienced ECMO ICU Registered Nurse to prime and initiate ECMO therapy, perform circuit exchanges, and support inter-hospital transport as part of the Rapid ECMO Deployment Team.

You'll work in a high-acuity, 10-bed ECMO unit with 24/7 physician/advanced practice coverage, competitive pay, a $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible full-time candidates, and comprehensive benefits including relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• RN with minimum 2 years CVICU or SICU experience.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required.
• CCRN certification preferred (through AACN).

Responsibilities

• Prime and initiate ECMO therapy.
• Independently perform circuit exchanges and emergent interventions.
• Proficient in operation of ECMO components and pumps.
• Perform intra/inter-hospital transport of ECLS patients as part of Rapid ECMO Deployment Team.
