Job summary

Community Action Corporation of South Texas is seeking a Program Director to lead the Early Childhood Intervention program, coordinate services, and ensure quality assurance and staff training. The role reports to the Executive Director and steers the program's leadership team.

You will collaborate with HHSC ECI and local agencies, monitor budgets, and drive continuous improvement across 11 counties. Strong leadership, communication, and travel are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory or managerial experience in an early childhood intervention program or similar.
• Experience with compliance monitoring and reporting.
• Budget management experience.
• Knowledge of ECI program requirements and service delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Lead, evaluate, and support ECI Program Staff.
• Oversees the ECI Program work plan and service delivery milestones.
• Coordinate staff development programs, including training.
• Program reporting and monitoring responsibilities.
• Represent the agency with HHSC ECI and other partners.
• Coordinate among service divisions and local agencies.
• Manage expenditures and program income monthly.
• Ensure compliance with ECI policies and procedures.
• Complete renewal applications for ECI.
• Communicate with state ECI personnel.
• Oversee payroll, timesheets, and purchasing processes.
