Job summary

Helen Farabee Centers’ ECI Program seeks an Early Intervention Specialist to plan and provide services to eligible children in home and community settings within a 10-county area. Travel to designated counties is required, with flexibility in scheduling.

Under the direction of program leadership, you will identify developmental delays, deliver holistic interventions, coordinate services, and maintain accurate documentation to meet HHSC ECI requirements while practicing trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 18 hours focused on early childhood intervention and related coursework.
• Must be registered in Texas as an Early Intervention Specialist (EIS) before 9/1/2011 or complete credentials.
• Must maintain valid driver's license and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Identify children with developmental delays across multiple domains.
• Provide intervention within home, daycare, or community contexts.
• Coordinate services and develop Individual Family Service Plans.
• Maintain thorough documentation of services and hours.
