Job summary

The Ohio State University’s Ross Heart Hospital Echo Lab is seeking a part-time Echocardiography Technician to support noninvasive imaging and patient education.

The role requires RDCS/RCS credential within 18 months of hire, completion of an accredited cardiac sonography program, and the ability to mentor staff while contributing to quality assurance and CME activities. Position is intermittent, first shift, on-site at Ross Heart Hospital.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program.
• RDCS or RCS credential required within 18 months of hire.
• Previous experience in Cardiac Sonography.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic and noninvasive imaging procedures for the Echo Lab.
• Educate patients and participate in quality assurance activities.
• Mentor other sonographers and students to maintain imaging quality.
• Maintain CME credits (minimum 30 hours every 3 years).
