The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer for the Echo Lab at Ross Heart Hospital. The role performs sonographic and noninvasive imaging, educates patients, and supports quality assessment in a busy lab environment.

The position emphasizes mentoring, quality assurance activities, adherence to imaging protocols, and ongoing CME participation to stay current with echo testing standards.

Qualificações

• Completed an accredited Cardiac Sonography program.
• RDCS or RCS credential required within 18 months of hire.
• Preferred: experience in Cardiac Sonography.

Responsabilidades

• Performs cardiac sonography and noninvasive imaging procedures and patient education.
• Serves as a mentor to other sonographers and students to improve quality.
• Participates in quality assurance/improvement initiatives and follows imaging protocols.
• Maintains CME ongoing knowledge (minimum 30 hours every three years).
