Job summary

OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms and vascular studies. The role is a casual/PRN position located in the Cardiac Imaging Lab and involves preparing reports, maintaining files and equipment, and coordinating scheduling.

Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, BLS certification, and completion of a two-year allied health program with registry eligibility (RDCS or RCS) within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School or GED (Required). BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association.
• Minimum two-year allied health program (i.e., sonography, radiology, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, or RN) and registry eligibility with registry obtained within 12 months of hire.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound imaging.
• Prepares required reports.
• Maintains files.
• Maintains equipment and provides needed statistics.
• Handles telephone to schedule and provide information.
• Reviews results of echocardiogram with physicians and performs quality assurance activities.
