Job summary

TMC HealthCare in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer – Echocardiography to perform cardiac ultrasound studies and support cardiology staff. The role includes echocardiograms, stress echoes, and assisting with transesophageal procedures, with on-call duties as needed.

Requires an associate degree or equivalent in sonography, RDCS/CCI within 12 months of hire, and BLS. Schedule is 5x8h shifts 1400–2230, full-time.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in sonography or a certification from a technical school providing a sonography program.
• RDCS through ARDMS or RCS through CCI within twelve months of hire; BLS required.
• Knowledge of sonography best practices and procedures; ability to interpret data and reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms, stress echoes, and assist with TEE procedures.
• Prepare patient history, record results, and maintain equipment in good working order.
• Notify physicians of critical findings and participate in department call rotation.
