Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center in Celina, TX is seeking a skilled echocardiography technologist to perform echocardiograms as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to high-quality patient care. You will contribute to accurate imaging and collaborative patient assessment in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role requires ARDMS certification in adult and/or pediatric echo, an associate degree or equivalent training, and BLS with ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in adult echo and/or pediatric echo is required.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program or accredited echo training preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support is required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
• A pediatric echocardiography skill statement from a pediatric cardiologist may substitute for ARDMS.

Your Job:
In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms.

Your Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.

Methodist Celina Medical Center is located on a 40+ acre campus just off of Dallas Parkway, and will serve as the community’s first full-service hospital, serving Celina and surrounding communities. The four-story medical center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and will feature a range of services including cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more. The campus will also include a 40,000-square-foot medical office building.
