Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking an experienced echocardiography technologist to join a multidisciplinary team. You will perform echocardiograms and contribute to patient care in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate degree in echocardiography or approved training program is preferred. ARDMS certification in AE and/or PR is required; pediatric-specific credential may be substituted under certain conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program or approved echo training.
• ARDMS in AE and/or PR required; pediatric substitute possible with cardiologist statement.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms for patients with accuracy and timeliness.

M-F And Rotating Weekends Work Shift

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you‘ll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
