Job summary

Bayhealth is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist to perform comprehensive cardiac imaging across Kent and Sussex campuses, with 50% float between locations. The role requires pediatric and neonatal proficiency, BLS, and ARDMS/RDCS credentials. It offers a sign-on bonus and a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities include performing echocardiograms, IV contrast, EKGs, Holter monitoring, and stress tests, while ensuring accurate scheduling, documentation, and infection control.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS and ARDMS/RDCS credentialing preferred.
• Two years of hands-on echocardiography experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms per physician orders.
• Administer IV contrast and agitated saline bubble studies when indicated.
• Conduct additional cardiac tests (EKG, Holter, stress tests) as assigned.
• Operate imaging and monitoring equipment to obtain quality studies.
• Ensure proper scheduling, charging, and hospital information system use.
• Maintain infection control practices and equipment disinfection.
• Mentor students and provide clinical guidance per agreements.
• Adhere to age-specific guidelines for neonatal and pediatric patients.
• Fulfill other duties within scope of responsibilities.
